Dear IGS GB Members, Former GB Members, current IGS Associate Members, and IGSMail recipients-

Tim Springer of ESA/ESOC is the IGS Associate Membership Committee Chair – and he will review the process and the applications with Steve Fisher and the Central Bureau for 2016.

Please go to this weblink below and input your information. With the new IGS website – we would like each of you to please provide your current information so that we can manage the information in the new database at IGS.ORG.

Please do this by November 12.

And this applies to all IGS – the Governing Board, the Former GB members, the current Associate Members and any new applicants.

For the GB Members - - can you please ensure that any members on your Working Groups or Projects apply?

Michael Coleman – the Clock Products Coordinator from NRL, successor to Ken Senior,  has graciously agreed to mange the elections – he will be assisted by Chuck Meertens and Urs Hugentobler, and the Central Bureau.

And so just to let you know:

The positions opening this year via election by Associates are:

  *   Tim Springer - Analysis Representative - two terms - so termed out for now, at least a year
  *   Shailen Desai - Analysis Representative - one term – eligible for a second term if nominated
  *   Kevin Choi - Analysis Coordinator -  proposed to be succeeded by Tom Herring, MIT,  if  (and no doubt) to be approved by IGS GB
