UNB3, one of UNB's continuously operating reference stations, has had
its receiver upgraded from a Trimble NetR5 to a Trimble NetR9. The
change occurred on 14 June (day 166). The antenna feeding the Trimble
receivers was upgraded to a Trimble Zephyr Geodetic 2 on 1 June as
previously announced ([IGSSTATION-4934] UNBJ (and UNB3/UNBN/UNBT)
Antenna Change).

A new log file for UNB3 can be found here (amongst other places):
ftp://cddis.gsfc.nasa.gov/pub/gps/data/campaign/mgex/log/unb3_20120621.log

UNB3 is now an IGS Multi-GNSS Experiment station. In the past, UNB3
data was delivered to CDDIS in both RINEX 2 and 3 formats. In fact,
UNB3 was one of the first, if not THE first station to have its data
archived at CDDIS in RINEX 3 format.

With the new receiver, UNB3 is logging data from GPS, GLONASS, SBAS,
Galileo (GIOVE and IOV), and Compass satellites. Examples of satellite
observability, as determined from a daily observation file, can be
found here:

In the course of automating the transfers of data from UNB3 to CDDIS,
we ran into several difficulties involving the NetR9, Trimble's
cnvtToRINEX utility, and teqc. I'll discuss those in a subsequent e-
mail.
