Dear Colleagues,

Please be informed that due to circumstances beyond our control there are going to be some changes to the equipment and surroundings at the TOW2 GNSS site.  

On 2011-09-22, due to construction work occurring at the site we have to replace the antenna cable.  The new cable is going to be of type LMR600 and be approximately 175 m in length.  At the same time we are going to take the opportunity to replace the existing (AOAD/M_T        AUST) antenna/radome combination with a LEIAR25.R3 antenna with no radome.

The construction work at the site is likely to continue for the remainder of this year.  The final product is going to be a large water holding tank.  We are not yet sure what impact this tank will have to the site.  To help monitor and identify any changes to the site, a small GNSS network has been established and will continue to operate until after the construction has been completed.
