Dear Colleagues,

The GPS receiver at the Santiago, Chile (SANT) station has been upgraded
to a new ASHTECH UZ-12. New data is available starting December 14th
(2007.348).

The existing AOAD/M_T antenna is powered through a GPS signal splitter,
and a section of the antenna cable has been replaced. Please also note
that the new receiver was not connected to the Cesium frequency standard
between December 14th - 17th (2007.348-351).

An updated sitelog has been submitted to the IGS-CB.

We apologize for the inconvenience this outage may have caused.

Maintenance and operations of the SANT station is a collaborative effort
supported by JPL, UNAVCO, and Universidad de Chile, Santiago, with
funding provided by NASA's Earth Surface and Interior Focus Area -
Science Mission Directorate.

Best Regards,

   -Oivind Ruud
