Dear IGS Community,

The IGS Standing Elections Committee (SEC) and Governing Board (GB) are
pleased to announce the 2026 Call for Nominations for the position of
*Network Representative*. Please refer to the IGS Terms of Reference
<https://files.igs.org/pub/resource/governance/IGS-Terms-of-Reference.pdf>
for further details on this position.

The election process will follow the procedure approved in September
2024
<https://files.igs.org/pub/resource/governance/GB_Elections_Process.pdf>,
and the IGS SEC encourages *GNSS Networks* and *IGS Associate Members*
to nominate candidates for any of the available positions, including
self-nominations, as long as both the nominator and nominee are active
in at least one IGS Component and in good standing with the IGS. All IGS
Associate Members listed on the Associate Membership List
<https://igs.org/am/list/> are eligible to nominate.

*Nominations should be sent before the 30th of August 2026 to
elections at igs.org.*

Candidates must provide (1) a /curriculum vitae/, (2) a statement of
intent, and (3) a letter of support from their organisation. Nominated
candidates will be contacted to confirm their interest and asked to
provide those documents.

The election process will be overseen and enforced by the IGS Standing
Election Committee, which as of today consisted of Rui Fernandes,
Wolfgang Söhne, Benjamin Männel, and Ryan Keenan. SEC members will be
responsible for reviewing and approving all Associate Member
applications, and vetting and selecting candidates.

Once the call for nomination ends, the SEC will organize and verify
nominations.

The election process will be electronic and take place *from the 15th of
November 2026 to the 1st of December 2026*. The elected candidate will
be elected to serve a 4-year term, starting on the 1st of January 2027.

Thank you for your consideration, interest, and cooperation.

Kind regards,

Camille Martire, on behalf of the Standing Elections Committee and
Governing Board.
