Dear colleagues,
We are pleased to announce that the International Committee on Global Navigation Satellite Systems (ICG) will host the Workshop on Ionospheric Impacts on GNSS and International Collaboration to Meet Current and Future Solar Activity Period Challenge, to be held in a hybrid format on 25¨C26 June 2025 at the Vienna International Centre (VIC), Austria.
The workshop welcomes the participation of experts and policymakers from regional, national, and local institutions; private organizations; academic and research institutions; non-governmental organizations; and international agencies from both developed and developing countries. We especially encourage attendance from:
Members and service providers of the ICG
Experts in GNSS positioning and ionospheric monitoring
Professionals in the GNSS and space weather communities
The workshop aims to foster discussion on the impacts of ionospheric disturbances on GNSS and to promote coordinated international efforts to mitigate these effects during the current and upcoming periods of increased solar activity.
