Please see the message below from the IAG Global Geodetic Observing System Coordinating Office, which is conducting a survey for the development of a future portal to serve our global geodetic community.

Dear colleague,

 

The Global Geodetic Observing System (GGOS) of the International Association of Geodesy (IAG) will take up the idea of developing a central access point for geodetic data and products of the IAG (e.g. Services, …) and beyond – the GGOS Portal. 

 

GGOS is now conducting a survey to inquire the opinions of geodetic data users on data availability and visibility, and to identify requirements for a comprehensive and user-friendly GGOS Portal. In addition GGOS will obtain an overview of the current availability of data products and their metadata. Therefore, producers (e.g. analysis centers, ...) and providers (data centers) of geodetic data are welcome to share their experiences and practices.

 

I cordially invite you to participate in this survey and thus help us in the development of the future GGOS Portal. If you have other colleagues in mind which would be appropriate to participate in this survey, please share the link with them.
