[IGSMAIL-7933] New RINEX WG Chair

 Dear IGS Community,

We are pleased to announce that Dr. Ignacio (Nacho) Romero has been
appointed as the new IGS RINEX Chair!

Dr. Romero is a Navigation Engineer at the Navigation Support Office of the
European Space Agency in Darmstadt, Germany. Nacho holds a PhD in
Astrodynamics from Cranfield University, UK, and BSc and MSc in Aerospace
Engineering from Texas A&M University. Nacho has been working on GNSS POD
and data issues in ESA and been a member of the IGS since 1999. Since 2009,
Nacho has served as the IGS Infrastructure Committee (IC) Chair,
coordinating the infrastructure elements across the IGS to ensure the data,
products and formats are readily available to all IGS users by ensuring IGS
stations, data centers, quality controls and formats are properly
organized. As IC Chair, Nacho prepared and helped to coordinate and
implement the transition (2015-2017) of the IGS to full RINEX 3 data
acceptance to facilitate multi-GNSS data and products support. Nacho,
succeeds Ken McLeod as the RINEX WG Chair.
