[IGSMAIL-7852] IGS open Associate Member and Working Group meeting @ AGU 2019

Dear IGS Colleagues and Friends,

The Central Bureau is happy to confirm that we will be holding our third
IGS open Associate Member and Working Group meeting the Sunday before AGU
2019 in San Francisco, California, USA. These meetings are open to the
entire IGS community, not just Associate Members, and we welcome newcomers.

The “AMs in the AM” Associate Member and Working Group morning open meeting
will take place Sunday morning before AGU (8 December) from 9 AM to noon.
The location is yet to be confirmed, but will be close to the AGU venue.



The purpose of this session is to provide an opportunity for the working
group chairs to update both governing board members and associate members
on progress / issues resulting from the most recent workshop, including
actions against the recommendations.

It will also provide a forum for discussion about how to move forward with
working group activities as we head towards the Boulder Workshop (10-14
August, 2020). The presentations will be short (5 minutes each) with 5
minutes for discussion after each. We will send the agenda as soon as it is
finalized.
