1 Doctoral Researcher (GNSS)
(Salary Scale 13 TV-L)

The position is available from January 1st, 2019 for a duration of three 
years.
In this project, alternative navigation concepts will be investigated 
when using miniaturized atomic clocks. Results from MATLAB simulations 
will be compared to real world test measurements. The scenarios which 
are investigated in close cooperation with partners from industry are 
precise car navigation in urban areas and flight maneuvers.
We offer an attractive position in an interdisciplinary team working in 
a highly relevant topical field of research which provides excellent 
opportunities for further professional qualification.
We expect candidates with an outstanding M.Sc. degree in geodesy, 
aerospace engineering, or a related discipline. Furthermore, the ability 
for interdisciplinary and independent work as well as a very good 
command of the English language and a passion for learning German are 
required. Sound experience in GNSS measurements, processing and analyses 
as well as programming and simulations in MATLAB are required.
