Thank you very much for your response.

I see your point. It is always difficult to cover all requirements of different user groups.

Nevertheless, as pointed out in the paper I think we need unique mount point names stable with time for the coordinated IGS real time network. Do you think, it would be possible to apply the concept suggested in the paper for the IGS RT network stations and define additional alias mount points following your own concept for your internal users? This would mean that the IGS mount points can be stable with time and you are free to change the (alias) mountpoint names for your users as often as you like.

Thanks for providing the white paper.

Here in Australia we have a number of customers who do not have a technical background, like farmers for example. As such they need a very basic and easily understood mount point naming convention.

As such here in Australia (with Geosceince Australia) we have been thinking about the following naming conventions.

Raw RTCM Streams (port 2105) for T1 VARS

  *   SSSS0 indicates RTCM 3.1 message types,
  *   SSSS1 indicates RTCM 3.2 MSM 1 message types,
  *   SSSS2 indicates RTCM 3.2 MSM 2 message types,
  *   SSSS3 indicates RTCM 3.2 MSM 3 message types,
  *   SSSS4 indicates RTCM 3.2 MSM 4 message types,
  *   SSSS5 indicates RTCM 3.2 MSM 5 message types,
  *   SSSS6 indicates RTCM 3.2 MSM 6 message types,
  *   SSSS7 indicates RTCM 3.2 MSM 7 message types.
  *

Single Base CMR+/x Streams (port 2103) for users

  *   SSSS+ or SSSSp indicates CMR+ message types,
  *   SSSSx indicates CMRx message types,
