GNSS Research Positions



The Geosciences Research Division of the National Geodetic Survey/NOS/NOAA
will soon announce 2 vacancies for senior GNSS Researchers whose duties
will include:



   - Research and development of techniques, products, and services that
   support and improve defining, maintaining, and accessing the National
   Spatial Reference System.
   - Developing physical models that accurately describe the orbital
   mechanics of Global Navigation Satellite Systems (GNSS), the propagation of
   their radio' signals, and the dynamics of the national and international
   tracking networks.
   - Maintaining and improving the International Terrestrial Reference
   Frame (ITRF) as the fundamental basis for the National Spatial Reference
   System (NSRS).
   - Developing, testing, and maintaining GNSS software in order to improve
   station positioning, GNSS orbit estimation and reference frame
   maintenance.

1 position will be located in *Boulder, CO,* and

1 position will be located in *Silver Spring, MD*.

 The application window is expected to open April 27 for a period of 14
days.
