Dear Colleagues,
The servers that generate the IGS orbit and clock products have been unavailable
for unknown reasons since yesterday evening, sometime before 22:00 EST (or 03:00
UTC today). As a result, there have been no IGS Ultra-rapid products generated
since 1725_6_18. It is unclear how long it will take to restore IGS services. If
they are not restored within the next ~3.5 hours (by ~16:00 UTC), then the
generation and delivery of IGS Rapid products will also be interrupted (starting
with 1725_6). We will continue to work to resolve the outage as quickly as
possible.
In the meantime, you may want to consider using the ultra-rapid and/or rapid
products directly from one of the Analysis Centers (ACs). For example, the Swiss
CODE group makes all their IGS contributions available at:
ftp.unibe.ch/aiub/CODE/COD.EPH_U <- latest ultra SP3C, updated every 6h
ftp.unibe.ch/aiub/CODE/COD.ERP_U <- latest ultra ERP, updated every 6h
ftp.unibe.ch/aiub/CODE/CODwwwwd.EPH_R <- rapid SP3C
ftp.unibe.ch/aiub/CODE/CODwwwwd.ERP_R <- rapid ERP
ftp.unibe.ch/aiub/CODE/CODwwwwd.CLK_R <- rapid 30s CLK
For more information about the CODE ftp contents, see:
ftp.unibe.ch/aiub/AIUB_AFTP.TXT
Please use any AC products with caution, as they are not official IGS products.
They may contain observed and predicted orbits for unhealthy and unusable
satellites. If your applications know not to use unhealthy/unusable satellites,
then AC products should be usable for apps requiring ultra-rapid inaccuracies
not less than ~3 cm (for observed part) and not less than ~5 cm (for predicted
part), and rapid orbit inaccuracies not less than ~2 cm.
Apologies for the inconveniences this outage will cause.
Best regards,
jake
