Please note that the abstract submission deadline for the 2013 Beacon Satellite Symposium at the University of Bath, UK, July 8-12, is on Jan 31. Please visit the meeting official website for session information, abstract submission instructions, etc.

Programme
There will be 8 sessions:
1. TEC Measurements and Empirical Models
2. Scintillations and Irregularities
3.a. Multi-Instrument Ionospheric Techniques
3.b. Ionospheric Modeling, data assimilation and forecasting (i.e. empirical and 1st principle modeling)
4. New techniques and advances in ionospheric measurement (including RO and signal processing/algorithm advances)
5. Physics of the ionosphere (e.g. storms, low-latitude physics, patches, aurora and convection)
6. Ionospheric Effects on Navigation Systems
7. New space weather initiatives with Beacon Satellites
8. Poster Session
