Dear colleagues,

Apologies for double postings.

We would like to draw your attention to Session G012 "GNSS and the atmosphere" at this year's AGU Fall Meeting, San Francisco 3-7 December 2012. The abstract submission is now open and will close on 8 August 2012.

This session welcomes contributions addressing effects of disturbances from the atmosphere on GNSS, including the following and related topics: monitoring/investigation of ionospheric disturbances, including multi-instrument approaches; receiver and user level mitigation techniques, as well as modelling, prediction and forecasting of ionospheric disturbances such as scintillation and TIDs; higher order ionospheric effects; GNSS processing strategies (PPP, multi-GNSS) for monitoring the neutral atmosphere; synergies between NWP and GNSS observable modeling; assimilation of products (slant delays) into NWP models; fore- and nowcasting applications; re-processed products for climate monitoring; tomography; and impacts of new GNSS upon atmospheric modeling.

We especially encourage abstracts from the Ionosphere and Troposphere IGS Working Groups and IAG Sub-Commission 4.3.

We hope to see you there.

Best regards,
Marcio Aquino
