[IGSMAIL-6585] Update: New CDDIS server operations - May 09, 2012

As stated earlier, the CDDIS computer facility is moving to a
new server environment today. We started the work at 08:00 a.m.
EDT (12:00 UTC). 

We have been able to activate some components of the system as
we progress with the transfer. At this time, the websites hosted 
by the CDDIS as well as the ftp archive are accessible to users. 
In addition, we can now accept incoming files from all data/product 
suppliers. However, we are unable to process these files until the 
new archive is synced with the old archive. Therefore, the archive 
will not be updated with new content provided after 08:00 a.m. EDT.;
we expect to be able to process incoming data later this afternoon, 
~6:00 p.m. EDT (22:00 UTC). 

I encourage groups that supply files to CDDIS to test their push
procedures as soon as possible and report any problems to me. Please 
contact me if you have any questions.
