We would like to bring your attention to the following session co-chaired by Patricia Doherty of Boston College and myself.
Atmospheric Effects Session
This session will focus on atmospheric effects on GNSS signals and GNSS based systems, and the use of GNSS in remote sensing of the ionosphere, troposphere, and Earth sciences. The ongoing quiescent solar minimum has permitted high-sensitivity studies of quiet-time phenomena for the ionosphere, as well as scintillation and other effects at low and high latitudes. Improvements in nowcasting and predictions are timely as solar activity
is expected to increase in the coming years. Furthermore, research results on possible impacts of tropospheric delay on high-precision and high-integrity applications is also being solicited.
We look forward to hearing from you.
Best wishes,
Dr. Patricia H. Doherty
