The ongoing quiescent solar minimum has permitted high-sensitivity studies of quiet-time phenomena for the ionosphere, as well as scintillation and other effects at low and high latitudes. Improvements in nowcasting and predictions are timely as solar activity</div><div>is expected to increase in the coming years.
