[IGSMAIL-4630]: Ashtech UZ receiver problem on D269 ?

Dear IGS Colleagues,
We have noticed from our routine teqc analyses that all Ashtech UZ 
receivers in the western hemisphere at latitudes above about 50 deg 
(at least those we could find) apparently stopped tracking or 
exhibited tracking problems shortly after 15:00 UT on 2003-09-26 (DOY 
269). This lasted for a period of 30 min to over 3 hr at some sites. 
RESO never recovered and needed a complete hardware reset. The 
following teqc plot for TUKT best illustrates the problem. Plots for 
our other receivers can be found at <http://www.naref.org/uz269/>. No 
other receiver types were apparently affected, including our Ashtech 
Z12. Has anyone else observed this? Does anyone have an explanation?
