On 5/14/03 (Day 134), during an attempt to make a frequency correction to the NR12 maser at GGAO, the processor apparently did not take the command properly and sent the maser off frequency. This glitch occurred on day 134 @ 1525 UT. The malfunction was
discovered and corrected on day 135 @ 1045 UT.
Prior to the frequency correction attempt, the frequency offset of the maser with respect to GPS was 1.59E-13. Between the times mentioned above, the offset changed to -4.43E-11. The problem has been corrected and the maser is settling in at this time.
I will follow up with a plot of the frequency performance once the maser has fully settled.
We apologize for any inconvenience this may have caused. If anyone has any questions or requires additional information, please do not hesitate to contact me.
