Subject: IERS Combination Research Meeting
Date: Wed, 27 Mar 2002 12:21:13 +0100
Dear colleagues,
During the EGS 2002 Meeting in Nice we would like to have
an "IERS Combination Research Meeting". With this meeting
we would like to coordinate and discuss the
integration/combination of space geodetic techniques within
the IERS, especially the activities of the IERS Combination
Research Centres (CRCs). But it is an open discussion so
everybody working in this field is very welcome.
The meeting will take place on
Thursday, April 25, 2002, from 14:00 to about 18:00
in Room Gallieni 1, Acropolis Conference Centre, Nice
Draft agenda of the meeting:
1. General Introduction
2. Status and first results of the "IERS ERP Alignment Campaign"
3. Short status reports of the CRCs
4. Organization of the "IERS SINEX Combination Campaign"
5. Status of SINEX Format
6. Steps towards more consistent and accurate IERS products:
- IERS Standards for modelling and parameterisation
- combination strategies
- products of the IERS Sub bureau for Loading (SBL)
7. IERS Combination Research Workshop
8. Miscellaneous
The second topic will allow for short presentations and discussion of
first results of the "IERS ERP Alignment Campaign". Please let us know,
if you intend to present some results.
Further topics of interest in this context or comments/modifications
are welcome.
We would also like to mention that session G6 (Altamimi, Monday+Tuesday) and
G9.05 (Rothacher, Friday) at the EGS 2002 Meeting are dedictated
to integration/combination aspects.
We hope to see you all in Nice.
With best regards,
Markus Rothacher Bernd Richter
