    CORRECTION to IGSMAIL 3076

    CLOCK STEERING of HERS Ashtech Z-12

    In IGSMAIL 3076 I reported the *exact opposite* of what I had actually
    done when setting CLOCK STEERING in the receiver! Apologies to all. 
    The (revised) paragraphs below are what I did. I have sent an updated
    sitelog to IGS.

    Following the suggestions and requests in IGSMAIL 3071 regarding the
    operation of Ashtech Z-12 receivers with an external frequency source,
    the Herstmonceux CLOCK STEERING has been changed to N. An updated site
    log (see below) has been submitted to IGS.

    Updated log entry for Frequency Source:

6.1  Standard Type            : GPS moderated by a quartz-based Austron
                              : Disciplined Frequency Standard (model 2110)
       Frequency              : 5 MHz
       Effective Dates        : from 17-JUN-1996
       Notes                  : Note added 27-OCT-2000 after IGSMAIL 3071.
                              : CLOCK STEERING has been Y (factory default)
                              :   since 17-JUN-1996.
                              : CLOCK STEERING set to N 27-OCT-2000 10:30 UT
                              : AUTO-SWITCH has always been Y
