Dear Colleagues,

As noted in IGSMAIL-3006, a failure has occurred in regard to 
communications from the GUAM site. Replacement communications
equipment has been installed and the site is now operating.

Although some data recovery has been accomplished for the period of
the communications outage, data for the past week, from d255 (11sep2000) 
to d262 (18sep2000), is unfortunately unrecoverable. Meanwhile,
data recovery continues; we expect retrieval of remaining available 
data to be completed within several hours.
