Subject: Status of Maspalomas and Malindi

We have experienced problems with the receivers at
Maspalomas and Malindi in the last days. A very
stormy weather in Maspalomas caused communication
and receiver problems. Data of DOY 014, 015 and 016
are not available due to receiver malfunctioning.
The SNR is lower than normal and we will shortly send
a new unit.

In Malindi the data retrieval was not possible
because of problems with the communication equipment
for several days. Now the communications have been
re-established but unfortunately the data of DOY
011, 012, 013 were lost.
