A permanent GPS receiver has been installed at the Mt Pleasant VLBI
observatory in Hobart, Tasmania, Australia. This receiver is approximately
150 m away from the existing CIGNET antenna location.


The GPS antenna is permanently located over a new concrete pillar and is 
covered with an acrylic dome.

Monument inscription: AU16 

This is a permanent installation.

Brief station information follows and a site report has been submitted to IGSCB.
