[IGSSTATION-9059] QZS-1R L1C/B signal tracking

Dear station operators, 

 

the QZS-1R satellite (SVN J005, PRN J04) switched transmission of L1C/A to
L1C/B on August 10, 2025:

Unfortunately, only very few receivers of the IGS network currently include
QZS-1R L1C/B observations in their RINEX files. In particular, Septentrio
PolaRx5 receivers fully support the tracking and RINEX file generation of
the L1C/B signal with the latest firmware 5.6.0. Therefore, we would like to
ask all operators of PolaRx5 receivers within the QZS-1R visibility area to:

 

*	Update the firmware to 5.6.0
*	Enable the tracking of L1C/B
*	Include L1C/B observations in the RINEX file generation

 

The latest QZSS satellite QZS-6 as well as all future QZSS satellites also
transmit L1C/B instead of L1C/A.
