Given that the CMT inversion # from seismic waves gives rise to two possible solutions for the rupture plane, two possible co-seismic displacements # are calculated for every station and earthquake. # * If any calculated 3D co-seismic displacement of an IGS station exceeds 1 mm, it is included in the table below. # # Warning : The co-seismic displacements thus calculated rely on several coarse approximations. They should not be used as # estimates of the actual co-seismic displacements, but only as rough orders of magnitude. # # The column "RF?" in the table below indicates whether each station is part of the current IGS reference frame (IGS20), # hence might need to stop being used as a reference frame station after the earthquake. # #__________station_________ ___________________________earthquake_____________________________ dist_ _____displacement1_____ _____displacement2_____ #sta_ lon[deg] lat[deg] RF? date_______________ Mw_ location________________ lon[deg] lat[deg] d[km] dE[mm]_ dN[mm]_ dH[mm]_ dE[mm]_ dN[mm]_ dH[mm]_ #----------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------- RIOP -78.651 -1.651 No 2023-03-18 17:12:53 6.7 Near Coast Of Ecuador -79.840 -2.840 187 -0.4 -1.0 -0.3 -0.4 -1.1 -0.3 From razmik.khachikyan at jpl.nasa.gov Tue Mar 21 19:22:22 2023 From: razmik.khachikyan at jpl.nasa.gov (Khachikyan, Raz (US 335S-Affiliate)) Date: Tue, 21 Mar 2023 19:22:22 +0000 Subject: [IGSSTATION-8597] Firmware upgraded: AMC400USA and USN700USA In-Reply-To: References: Message-ID: Author : Raz Khachikyan Dear Colleagues, SEPT POLARX5TR firmware of stations AMC400USA and USN700USA has been upgraded to 5.5.0. # #__________station_________ ___________________________earthquake_____________________________ dist_ _____displacement1_____ _____displacement2_____ #sta_ lon[deg] lat[deg] RF? date_______________ Mw_ location________________ lon[deg] lat[deg] d[km] dE[mm]_ dN[mm]_ dH[mm]_ dE[mm]_ dN[mm]_ dH[mm]_ #----------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------- KOUC 164.287 -20.559 Yes 2023-05-19 02:57:07 7.7 Southeast Of Loyalty Isl 170.690 -23.230 724 -0.6 1.0 0.3 -0.6 1.0 0.3 NRMD 166.485 -22.228 Yes 2023-05-19 02:57:07 7.7 Southeast Of Loyalty Isl 170.690 -23.230 445 -0.8 1.5 1.2 -0.8 1.5 1.2 PTVL 168.315 -17.749 Yes 2023-05-19 02:57:07 7.7 Southeast Of Loyalty Isl 170.690 -23.230 658 -1.2 3.9 -0.5 -1.2 3.9 -0.5 CHOF 139.531 35.675 No 2023-05-26 10:03:24 6.2 Near East Coast Of Honsh 140.520 35.520 91 1.6 -0.3 -0.6 1.6 -0.3 -0.6 MTKA 139.561 35.680 No 2023-05-26 10:03:24 6.2 Near East Coast Of Honsh 140.520 35.520 88 1.6 -0.3 -0.7 1.6 -0.3 -0.7 TONG -175.179 -21.145 No 2023-06-15 18:06:28 7.2 South Of Fiji Islands -177.210 -22.980 292 -0.5 -0.7 -0.6 -0.5 -0.8 -0.6 ANTC -71.532 -37.339 Yes 2023-07-17 03:05:11 6.7 Southern Argentina -70.370 -38.190 139 -0.7 0.7 1.1 -0.7 0.7 1.1 SSIA -89.116 13.697 No 2023-07-19 00:22:08 6.5 Off Coast Of Central Ame -88.130 12.810 145 0.6 -0.8 -0.3 0.6 -0.8 -0.3 From jako at pecny.pecny.cz Thu Aug 17 06:38:13 2023 From: jako at pecny.pecny.cz (Jakub Kostelecky) Date: Thu, 17 Aug 2023 08:38:13 +0200 (CEST) Subject: [IGSSTATION-8657] GOPE00CZE: missing data at DOYs 226-227 Message-ID: Author: Jakub Kostelecky Due to the crash of the hard drives of the GOP operation center server in the period from DOY 226 hour N till DOY 227 hour S, there was a delay in sending data, and on the one hand, some files are partially and some files are permanently lost. As expected, it was impossible to separate the old antenna from the monument without some reconstruction work. The latter involved replacing a metal adapter with a newly fabricated adapter. As a consequence the antenna height changed. We are fairly confident that the new adapter did not introduce noticeable changes in the horizontal position: any differences, if they exist, should be below the millimeter level. In the vertical, the ARP of the new antenna is 13.4 mm below the old ARP, but this is absorbed in the modified antenna height. The old and new antenna positions have been checked by a local survey and a local GNSS monitoring network. The local GNSS monitoring network consists of two receiver at distances of several hundreds of meters, that started observing two weeks before the change and continue observing for some time after the change. Results from the local survey and GNSS monitoring, which is ongoing, are not available yet. These will be an independent verification of the work that was done. A new station logfile will be submitted soon. Finally, I would like to thank my colleagues from the Dutch Kadaster who took it upon them to prepare, and monitor the antenna change.
