Dear IGS Community,
Effective 17 September 2012, the IGS sitelog template will be updated to
properly recognize all satellite systems. More specifically, section 3
of the sitelog (Receiver) will change:
From:
3.x Receiver Type : (A20, from rcvr_ant.tab; see instructions)
Satellite System : (GPS/GLONASS/GPS+GLONASS)
To:
3.x Receiver Type : (A20, from rcvr_ant.tab; see instructions)
Satellite System : (GPS+GLO+GAL+CMP+QZSS+SBAS)
All abbreviations are defined in the rcvr_ant.tab standard.
ftp://igs.org/pub/station/general/rcvr_ant.tab
At the same time all current sitelogs in the "log" directory will also change.
ftp://igs.org/pub/station/log
The old "GPS/GLONASS/GPS+GLONASS" will no longer be allowed.
Further instructions will made available at its usual place:
ftp://igs.org/pub/station/general/sitelog_instr.txt
For any questions, feel free to contact me or the Central Bureau cb at igs.org.
Best Regards,
