Dear all
During the next Gough Island voyage, 6 Sept - 11 Oct 2012, the
dysfunctional GPS station will be replace by a Leica GR10 and new Leica
choke ring antenna. The plan is to add a MET4 meteorological unit as
well. An EIA and site scouting will be done for a radar type tide gauge,
seismometer and accelerometer.
If there is a special requirement for high frequency sampling, such as
is required for ionospheric research, please let me know. I expect there
will be bandwidth limitations, but it could also be stored on hard disk
for manual retrieval once per year.
Regards
Ludwig
