Dear Colleagues,
From January 1st to 3rd, 2010, we seem to have experienced some
problems with our Ashtech Z12-T receiver called OPMT, which is also part
of our IGS station OPMT. For some reason(s) not clearly understood yet,
as our other Ashtech Z12-T OPM2 was not affected simultaneously, the
generation of Rinex files was not completed properly, or may have been
completed but with partly corrupted files as a result. It is not only
due to a problem in the file names, issued from the change from 2009 to
2010, which seems to have affected also some other Ashtech receivers in
the IGS network, but also to a wrong GPS week number for half of one
given day.
Therefore, we had to spend some time trying to fix these problems. The
Rinex files for the first three days of year 2010, which could only be
partly rebuilt, have been resubmitted today to IGN.
Please feel free to contact us in the case more detailed information
would be needed.
Best regards.
Pierre Uhrich.
