Dear Colleagues:

ALIC, has now returned back to normal operations. No changes
have been made to the site as the previously reported data quality issues have subsided.
As ALIC is a reference frame site, we are reluctant to make any changes unless
absolutely required. Preliminary results from our Rapid network solution and
'teqc' metrics also indicate that the station is performing normally.

We were unable to determine the cause of the poor data quality between DoY 271
to DoY 280 as well as a poor data quality period between DoY 286 and DoY 290.
We advise not to use data between these periods. Our local site contact visited the
site a number of times and did not see any obvious change to the local environment around
the antenna.

Data has now been submitted to IGS data centres from DoY 291 onwards.

We will continue to keep a close watch on Alice Springs to see if any further
data quality issues reappear.

Regards,

Michael Moore
