ADVISORY:

Our colleagues from the Length, Time and Optical Standards, at the National Measurement Institute have informed us that they suspect a problem with the external frequency stability. Analysis of PPP Time transfer results of SYDN are showing that the clock drift is larger than expected during July, whereas the results for May and June where of good quality.

At this stage they suspect a fault connection to the external reference, rather than a problem with the reference signal.

Analysts at NMI are investigating the problem further, and another station message will be sent once the fault can be isolated and fixed.

In the mean time please use any data from SYDN during July and August with CAUTION.

Regards
Michael Moore
