The equipment swap at the Selezaschita, Kazakstan (SELE) station has been
completed. The data from the new antenna and receiver is available from the
data centers starting on July 8th (2008.190). There is a data gap on July 8th
from 00:00 to 10:51 UTC due to the equipment swap. An updated site log has been
submitted to the IGS-CB.

During the course of the equipment swap it was discovered that from the site's
inception, the antenna has had a radome of type UNAV. The sitelog has been
updated in sections 4.1 and 4.2 to correct this error, such that subsequent post
processing will have the correct metadata. Note that RINEX for the previous
equipment occupations retains the improper "NONE" radome text in the headers.

We would like to acknowledge the personnel from the Scientific Station of
OIVTRAN in performing the equipment swap.

We apologize for the inconvenience this outage may have caused and for the delay
in updating the site log.

Maintenance and operations of the SELE station is a collaborative effort
supported by JPL, UNAVCO, and the Scientific Station of OIVTRAN (Bishkek,
Kyrgyzstan) with funding provided by NASA's Earth Surface and Interior Focus
Area - Science Mission Directorate.

Best Regards,
David Maggert
