Dear IGS Colleagues,
Please note that the external frequency reference for NPLD changed on MJD 54034 (26th October 2006) at 12:00 UTC
to a Datum active hydrogen maser. Traceability to UTC(NPL) was not lost however, since the maser became
the source of UTC(NPL) at the same time. Users of NPLD data for time and frequency purposes may
note a slight change in frequency from that date.
I would like to apologise for the various data outages that followed this switch, these were due to various
hardware failures in the frequency distribution to NPLD.
An updated site log has been submitted to reflect this change.
Kind Regards,
Peter
