PRODUCTS UPDATE
---------------
Starting this week, our IGS submission has been upgraded to SINEX 1.0 format.
Thanks to Remi Ferland of NRCan for providing the SINEX conversion utilities.

This week we also begin reporting estimates of total zenith troposphere delay
from all the sites participating in our orbit solution process. The files,
one for each solution day, will be made available on a weekly basis along with
the other IGS products; please see the products listing in the header above.

The information in the files is arranged according to Variant 2 in the agreed
upon format put forward by Gerd Gendt in his letter to the AC's from November
19, 1996. Briefly, they contain the total troposphere delay at 5-minute
intervals from about 37 globally-distributed sites. They also contain the
estimated coordinates for each of the participating sites.

GENERAL
------
We have recently discovered an error in our treatment of the solar radiation
pressure estimate for PRN's 10 and 30 which has existed since their inclusion
in our processing beginning in mid-1996. This error has also likely been
responsible for the increased noise in our LOD estimates during that period.
The problems have been corrected beginning with day 2 of GPS week 890
(1997-027), and we expect that our LOD will return to its previous quality.
We no longer deweight data from PRN10 as of this date as well.

A clock reset was detected at ALGO at approximately 00:00 UT on day 032. As
we use a 30-hour data span, we elected to use a different reference clock,
FAIR, on this and the previous day (031).

Due to potential problems, data from stations mentioned below were not
considered for use in the global solution for the day indicated. (For
geographical reasons, they may not have been used in any case.)

WARNING: Data from PRN10 deweighted on day 026 only.
WARNING: FAIR (not ALGO) used as reference clock days 031 and 032.
WARNING: Data from ONSA excluded day 026.
WARNING: Data from LPGS, YAR1 excluded day 027.
WARNING: Data from HOB2, TROM excluded day 028.
WARNING: Data from WTZR excluded day 029.
WARNING: Data from AUCK, CHAT excluded day 030.
WARNING: Data from AUCK, CHAT, POTM, WTZR excluded day 031.
WARNING: Data from AUCK, CHAT, HFLK, KELY, OHIG excluded day 032.

In the following table, UT1R-UTC are the integrated values based on estimated
LODR values in the adjacent column. See IGS Report No. 1498 (jpl07827.sum)
