JPL ANALYSIS REPORT GPS-WEEK 0872 (DAYS 266-272, DATES 1996 Sep 22 - Sep 28)
******************************************************************************
Submitted by the JPL IGS/FLINN Analysis Team:

jpl08727.sum This text file.
jpl08727.erp Earth rotation parameters for GPS week 872.
jpl08727.snx Ground station coordinates for GPS week 872, SINEX format.

______________________________________________________________________________
Median Orbit Repeatability (see table below): 16.0 cm
According to the file nanu1996.mes obtained from the IGS CBIS, a new satellite,
PRN30 was launched on day 256. Data from this satellite were used on day 272
only. Also, PRN05 was scheduled unusable on day 268 for maintenance and
repositioning. Data from this satellite did not meet our convergence criteria
on this nor the following day (265), and have been excluded from our analyses
of both days.
Beginning this week, we add two new candidate stations. As with most stations,
these sites are given the opportunity to participate in the orbit and clock
solution as the global site distribution varies. The following nominal
coordinates were assumed:
X (m) Y (m) Z (m)
MAD2 (Madrid, Spain) 4849202.4854 -360329.1343 4114913.0821
MKEA (Mauna Kea HI, USA) -5464109.0746 -2495162.9080 2148285.4774
Lastly, according to IGS Mail Message No. 1440, an antenna change was
scheduled to occur at MADR on day 270. This station was NOT used as a
fiducial (constrained) site in the analyses of days 270 through 272.
Due to potential problems, data from stations mentioned below were not
considered for use in the global solution for the day indicated. (For
geographical reasons, they may not have been used in any case.)
WARNING: Data from PRN10 excluded for the entire GPS week 872.
WARNING: Data from PRN05 excluded days 268 and 269 due to a maneuver.
WARNING: MADR not used as a fiducial days 270-272 due to an antenna change.
WARNING: Data from CMBB, DGAR, EISL, HOB2, NYAL excluded day 266.
WARNING: Data from CMBB, DGAR, EISL, NYAL, POL2 excluded day 267.
WARNING: Data from CMP9, DGAR, EISL, MCM4, NYAL, PAMA, SANT, SNI1 excluded day 268.
WARNING: Data from CHIL, DGAR, EISL excluded day 269.
WARNING: Data from BAHR, DGAR, HBRK, ONSA excluded day 270.
WARNING: Data from BOGT, CMBB, EISL, FARB excluded day 271.
WARNING: Data from BOGT, CAT1, CMBB, DGAR excluded day 272.
In the following table, UT1R-UTC are the integrated values based on estimated
LODR values in the adjacent column. See IGS Report No. 1498 (jpl07827.sum)
