______________________________________________________________________________
Starting this week, estimated parameters for point-positioned sites (IGS Report
1267; jpl07677.sum) are in the reference frame defined by the free-network
global solution. (Systematic errors in ITRF coordinates and velocities of the
13 IGS fiducials will therefore not affect the results of point-positioned
sites.) This is achieved by using free-network satellite parameters (orbits
and clocks) determined in the global solution. Satellite products that are
posted are not affected, and still reflect the strict imposition of constraints
for the IGS fiducials.
Also beginning this week, we include data from two new sites: CICE (Ensenada,
Mexico) and WHC1 (Whittier College, California, USA). As with most stations,
these sites are given the opportunity to participate in the orbit and clock
solution as the global site distribution varies. The following nominal
coordinates were assumed:
CICE: X = -2433337.6578 m, Y = -4845000.8573 m, Z = 3348405.7849 m
WHC1: X = -2488200.3629 m, Y = -4673489.3529 m, Z = 3544650.3796 m
Due to potential problems, data from the following stations were not
considered for use in the global solution for the day indicated. (For
geographical reasons, they may not have been used in any case.)
WARNING: Data from VILL excluded on day 092 (Apr 2).
WARNING: Data from LAMA, METS excluded on day 093 (Apr 3).
WARNING: Data from WETT excluded on day 097 (Apr 7).
WARNING: Data from LAMA excluded on day 098 (Apr 8).
In the following table, UT1R-UTC are the integrated values based on estimated
LODR values in the adjacent column. See IGS Report No. 1498 (jpl07827.sum)
