______________________________________________________________________________
Beginning with day 283 (Oct 10), we are pleased to include data from KIT3
(Kitab, Uzbekistan). The location of this site should prove to be helpful
in improving the global distribution of sites, and subsequently our orbit
solutions. Also, two new European sites have been included this week:
BOR1 (Borowiec, Poland) and POTS (Potsdam, Germany). The position of KIT3 was
estimated along with the global set of stations used to determine the GPS
orbits, while the other two sites' locations were obtained via our point-
positioning method. The following nominal coordinates were assumed:
KIT3: X = 1944938.7717 m, Y = 4556643.3664 m, Z = 4004276.6843 m
BOR1: X = 3738359.8278 m, Y = 1148173.9123 m, Z = 5021816.4272 m
POTS: X = 3800700.4251 m, Y = 882069.9869 m, Z = 5028749.8128 m
According to the file nanu1994.mes obtained from the IGS CBIS, PRN01 was
declared unusable from 21:35 UT on day 284 (Oct 11) until 03:00 UT on day
285 (Oct 12) for repositioning. This satellite was excluded from our analyses
on these two days only.
According to IGS Mail No. 745, the antenna height at YELL was changed on
day 287 (Oct 14). We have excluded this site from our processing on this
day and the previous day as well.
The solution for day 288 (Oct 15) was obtained without using our new GPS
yaw attitude model (see jpl07677.sum, IGS Report No. 1267).
WARNING: Data from GODE, MATE, MCMU, and PERT excluded on day 283.
WARNING: Data from MATE, NYAL, TROM, and PERT excluded on day 284.
WARNING: Data from PRN01 excluded on days 284 and 285 due to a maneuver.
WARNING: Data from MATE excluded on day 285.
WARNING: Data from FORT, MAS1, STJO, MAC1, and MCMU excluded on day 286.
WARNING: Data from YELL excluded on days 286 and 287, antenna height changed.
In the following table, UT1R-UTC are the assumed nominal values from IERS
Bulletin-B predicts; estimated LODR values are also included. See IGS Mail
Message 97 for details.
