JPL ANALYSIS REPORT GPS-WEEK 0738 (DAYS 58-64, DATES 1994 Feb 27 - Mar 05)

jpl07387.erp Earth rotation parameters for GPS week 738.
jpl0738[0-6].sp3 GPS ephemerides for GPS week 738, sp3 format.
______________________________________________________________________________

Beginning this week, we have tightened our criterion for a satellite's
inclusion in the sp3 products. We now include only those satellites whose
maximum 3drss formal error over the day is not more than 50 cm. (The previous
value was 100 cm; see jpl07217.sum.)

Although included in our analyses for the entire week, data from PRN03
appeared to be sparse for day 061 (Mar 2). Formal errors for this satellite
were large enough to warrant exclusion from the jpl07383.sp3 orbit file. We
also experienced a lack of data from PRN28 for days 058-062 (Feb 27 - Mar 3).
During this period, this satellite was included only on day 062. However,
formal errors were large enough that it was excluded from this day's sp3
file. PRN28 is of course absent from the respective sp3 files for the other
days of this time span, and the corresponding columns in our orbit tables as
well.

According to the file gpsn1.txt obtained from tycho.usno.navy.mil, PRN27 was
scheduled unusable for up to 12 hours beginning at 19:15 UT on day 062 for
repositioning. We have excluded this satellite from this day's analysis only.

In order to reduce the cpu time required for processing, we have used a
smaller, well-distributed subset of no more than 35 stations for days 062-064
(Mar 3-5); sites not used on these days do not necessarily reflect a problem
at those locations. However, we did find that the inclusion of GODE caused an
excessive number of outliers in the analysis of day 059 (Feb 28). Consequently,
we have deliberately deleted this site from our processing on this day.

WARNING: No orbit solutions for PRN03 on day 062 due to lack of data.
WARNING: No orbit solutions for PRN28 on days 058-062 due to lack of data.
WARNING: Data from PRN27 excluded on day 062 due to a maneuver.
WARNING: Data from GODE excluded on day 059.
