OUTLINE OF THE ESTIMATION OF GPS-ORBITS AND EARTH ROTATION PARAMETERS
AT THE ESOC PROCESSING CENTRE FOR IGS

 J.M.Dow, T.Martin-Mur, J.Feltens, C.Garcia-Martinez, M.A. Bayona-Perez

Description of analysis for period 1994 Jan 23 - Jan 29
                                                        (week 0733)
 1. SOFTWARE USED: GPSOBS/BAHN-Version 5

 2. MODELS USED AND PARAMETERS ESTIMATED/FIXED:

For a description of models and parameters used ==> see IGS - Mail 51
For updates of the models and parameters used ==> see IGS - Mail 114 and
                                                      see IGS - Rep. 224,277

From this week and until a final decision (hopefully in Paris) is
taken on clock formats/standards we will provide clock estimations
with the periodic relativistic effect removed. We still will be
using the average GPS Broadcast Clock parameters and eight hydrogen
masers as references (ALGO, GOLD, FAIR, FORT, KOKB, MADR, SANT and
TIDB). Our solution should have no offset and no drift when
compared with the GPS time, except for satellites for which the
Navigation Message clock is in average biased w.r.t. the real
satellite clock (like PRN# 32 on week 0731).

 3. REMARKS: - Unusual amount of lost of lock in the RINEX observation
files from Goldstone. We are not using these LLIs any
more because they do not represent real cycle slips.

             - Lack of observations for satellite PRN03 / SV-11
on DOY 023 from 0000 until 0900 UTC.

             - Lack of observations for satellite PRN24 / SV-24
from DOY 025 on. We are providing a propagated orbit.

 4. GROUND STATIONS: Altamimi and Boucher, IGS Mails 421 and 430,
                     ITRF92 at 1994.0 and localtie.tab.
