OUTLINE OF THE ESTIMATION OF GPS-ORBITS AND EARTH ROTATION PARAMETERS
AT THE ESOC PROCESSING CENTRE FOR IGS

 J.M.Dow, J.Feltens, T.J.Martin-Mur, C.Garcia-Martinez

Description of analysis for period 1993 Oct 10 - Oct 16
                                                        (week 0718)
 1. SOFTWARE USED: GPSOBS/BAHN-Version 5

 2. MODELS USED AND PARAMETERS ESTIMATED/FIXED:

For a description of models and parameters used ==> see IGS - Mail 51
For updates of the models and parameters used ==> see IGS - Mail 114 and
                                                      see IGS - Rep. 224,277
 3. REMARKS: - On days 287 and 288, high residuals and bad force
modelling for satellite SV-37/PRN07. The orbit
of this satellite was estimated in a different process
to avoid ERPs and other satellites being affected.

             - Satellite SV-11/PRN03 was removed on DOY 288 due
to the lack of observations. The satellite was set
unusable for several hours on this day. See
               CANSPACE mail 93/10/15.

             - As already announced in our IGS mail 353 of 22 October 1993,
we are including the such called "Satellite Accuracy Exponents"
into the SP3 header format of our daily orbit files from
this week 0718 on. For details please take into our IGS mail
               353. An exponent of "0" means, that there was on the previous
day no orbital fit of the corresponding satellite to compare
with. So in this case no exponent can be computed.

 4. GROUND STATIONS: Boucher and Altamimi, IGS workshop Berne 24-27 March'93
IGS/IERS station coordinates in the ITRF91 at 1992.6
