OUTLINE OF THE ESTIMATION OF GPS-ORBITS AND EARTH ROTATION PARAMETERS
AT THE ESOC PROCESSING CENTRE FOR IGS

 J.M.Dow, J.Feltens, T.Martin-Mur, C.Garcia-Martinez

Description of analysis for period 1993 April 25 - May 01
                                                          (week 0694)
 1. SOFTWARE USED: GPSOBS/BAHN-Version 5

 2. MODELS USED AND PARAMETERS ESTIMATED/FIXED:

For a description of models and parameters used ==> see IGS - Mail 51
For updates of the models and parameters used ==> see IGS - Mail 114 and
                                                      see IGS - Rep. 224

We have started to use a cycle slip detection algorithm based in
the (4,-3) and (5,-4) L1,L2 combinations. These two combinations
have the advantage of being almost ionospheric free, but with
integer ambiguities. Before we were using the L3 ionospheric
free combination to look for cycle slips, but some combinations
of L1 and L2 cycle slips may produce a jump in L3 that is
smaller than the noise of the signal.

 3. REMARKS: A/S has been switched on from day 118 (28 April 93) 12:00 until
day 123 (03 May 93) 00:00. As in week 0693, our ERPs as well as
our precise orbits are obviously deteriorated because of A/S.For
some satellites only a very few measurements were available on
             days 120 and 121 (30 April , 01 May 93) resulting in weakly de-
termined orbits for these satellites: SV-14/PRN14, SV-15/PRN15,
             SV-16/PRN16, SV-25/PRN25, SV-26/PRN26, SV-28/PRN28, SV-29/PRN29,
             SV-32/PRN01.

 4. GROUND STATIONS: Boucher and Altamimi, IGS workshop Berne 24-27 March'93
IGS/IERS station coordinates in the ITRF91 at 1992.6
