Dear IGS Community,


It was wonderful seeing so many of you (223, to be precise) at our 2024 IGS
Symposium and Workshop in Bern, Switzerland! The entire IGS Central Bureau
extends their heartfelt thanks to the Bern Local and Scientific Organizing
Committees, whose work ensured our event was a successful return to
in-person community events. The CB, SOC, and LOC, all wish to also express
their gratitude to all participants of this event, who made such exciting
contributions possible and fruitful.

The Symposium presentations are now available on the IGS website at
https://igs.org/workshop/2024/; recordings will be made available soon via
our IGS YouTube channel <https://www.youtube.com/@igsorg/> and embedded
there as well.

Furthermore, we are looking forward to seeing you at the IGS Symposium and
Workshop in Santiago de Chile in 2026, which will be our first-ever in
South America! More information about this event will be announced on the
IGS website early next year.

Finally, we are officially launching our Call to Host the 2028 IGS
Symposium and Workshop! We welcome proposals from our colleagues around the
world; please contact the IGS Central Bureau at cb at igs.org for more
information.
