[IGSMAIL-8405] Open position at the AIUB to support our CODE AC team

Dear Colleagues,

The satellite geodesy research group of the Astronomical Institute of 
the University of Bern (AIUB) offers the position of a

              RESEARCH ASSISTANT.

The focus of the research activities will be in the field of

              GNSS DATA ANALYSIS.

The AIUB hosts the Center for Orbit Determination in Europe (CODE), one 
of the leading analysis centers of the International GNSS Service (IGS). 
The position is focusing on advancing and extending the operational 
multi-GNSS data analysis capability of the Bernese GNSS Software package 
and related procedures.

Despite these rather technical tasks, like maintaining the various 
operational processing chains at AIUB, also scientific research will be 
expected. The research topic shall support the CODE activities at AIUB 
which covers the wide range from global GNSS solutions up to the 
combination of GNSS with other space geodetic techniques on observation 
level. Synergies with LEO orbit determination are particularly included. 
More details may be defined depending on the interest and the experience 
of the candidate.
