Dear IGS Community Members,
The IGS Central Bureau, Analysis Center Coordinator, and Reference Frame
Coordinator are pleased to welcome a candidate for the new IGS Analysis
Center run jointly by the Geospatial Information Authority of Japan (GSI)
and the Japan Aerospace Exploration Agency (JAXA). This new AC candidate
will provide the IGS with final orbit, clock, ERP and SINEX products, as
well as rapid orbit, clock and ERP products, identified with the acronym
"JGX", starting with GPS week 2269.
These products will initially be included in the IGS final orbit/clock and
SINEX combinations for comparison only. Upon successful evaluation, they
will then contribute to the final and rapid combinations with weight.
The JGX final and rapid products are generated from GPS, GLONASS and
Galileo observations using JAXA's MADOCA (Multi-GNSS Advanced Demonstration
tool for Orbit and Clock Analysis) software. The undifferenced
ionosphere-free carrier phases and pseudo-ranges from an average of 140
stations in IGS network are processed to obtain the solutions and
double-differenced scheme are used to fix the integer ambiguities.
For more information on their analytical strategy, please refer to the file
"jgx.acn" that will be available at:
https://files.igs.org/pub/center/analysis/
Best regards.
The IGS Central Bureau, together with:
Basara Miyahara, Naofumi Takamatsu (GSI)
Satoshi Kogure, Kyohei Akiyama (JAXA)
