Dear IGS Community,

The IGS Central Bureau is pleased to announce a new and improved IGS Site
Log Manager (SLM 2.0) and IGS Network visualization system (Network 2.0).
Last year, the CB identified issues in the current Site Log Manager and
Network page, which included outdated technology that was soon to be
deprecated and limited support for possible new features needed. As a
result of research on new technologies and extensive user
interviews/testing, the CB was able to develop the necessary improvements
for each system. For a list of changes and improvements, please visit:
https://igs.org/news/slm-network-upgrades-downtime

IMPORTANT

Please note, the IGS SLM (https://slm.igs.org) and Network (
https://igs.org/network) will not be available during the upgrade period,
starting on 31 March 2023 16:00 UTC, and ending on 3 April 2023 at 16:00 UTC
. All other IGS websites, such as https://igs.org and https://files.igs.org,
are expected to remain available throughout the transition.

We will send an announcement to confirm when these resources are available
again by IGSmail and via social media on twitter (https://twitter.com/igsorg
).

Existing SLM Users

For existing SLM users, new passwords are required in all cases for SLM
2.0; your old SLM password will no longer be valid and if you reset your
password to access the SLM 2.0 DEMO, that password will also no longer be
valid. On the day of launch you will receive a password reset email to
reset your password. You can also visit the SLM 2.0 page to initiate your
password update by clicking the “Forgot Password?” link, once the official
release is in place.
