[IGSMAIL-8277] Open position at the AIUB to support our CODE AC team

Dear Colleagues,

The satellite geodesy research group of the Astronomical Institute of 
the University of Bern (AIUB) offers the position of a

              RESEARCH ASSISTANT.

The focus of the research activities will be in the field of

              GNSS DATA ANALYSIS.

The AIUB hosts the Center for Orbit Determination in Europe (CODE), one 
of the leading analysis centers of the International GNSS Service (IGS). 
An important part of the position will be devoted to the continuous 
improvement of the processing system, which is required to guarantee the 
operational activities with high reliability. The permanent development 
and improvement of the Bernese GNSS Software package, to also guarantee 
the high quality standards of the CODE products according to the latest 
scientific standards in the future, will be another core task of this 
position.

Despite these rather technical tasks, also scientific research will be 
possible. The research topic shall support the CODE activities at AIUB 
which covers the wide range from global GNSS solutions up to the 
combination of GNSS with other space geodetic techniques on observation 
level. More details may be defined depending on the interest and the 
experience of the candidate.
