[IGSMAIL-8266] 5th IGS Open Associate Member and Working Group Hybrid Meeting

Dear IGS Associate Members and Friends,

We are happy to announce our 5th IGS Open Associate Member and Working
Group (AM/WG) Hybrid Meeting. After three long-awaited years, we will
finally be able to see everyone face-to-face. This hybrid event will be
taking place in Chicago, Illinois, USA and online everywhere on the 11th of
December 2022 from 15:00-18:00 UTC.


The AM/WG Meeting is open to all IGS Associate Members, Governing Board
Members, and Former Governing Board Members, as well observers who would
like to learn more about the IGS. Its intention is to be a forum for our
Associate Members and friends to gather in between workshops to discuss
ideas, learn about the IGS and its Working Groups and Pilot Projects.

This session will provide an opportunity for the working group and pilot
project chairs to update both governing board members and associate members
on progress / issues resulting from the most recent 2022 virtual workshop
recommendations and virtual Tour de l’IGS.

It will also provide a forum for discussion about how to move forward with
working group/pilot project activities as we head towards the 2024 IGS Bern
Workshop (1-5 July 2024). The presentations will be short (5 minutes each)
with 5 minutes for discussion after each.

Participants who are new to the IGS, or are interested in joining an IGS
Working Group/Pilot project are especially welcome.
