[IGSMAIL-8097] Changes to Geoscience Australia AUSCORS NTRIP Broadcaster [SEC=OFFICIAL]

Dear IGS Community,

Today, Geoscience Australia has released enhancements to the AUSCORS NTRIP Broadcaster. The enhancement brings together a large number of reference stations from the Australian region into a single location.

The enhancements to the platform have been designed:

  *   to handle more user connections, improving reliability
  *   to be faster, improving performance
  *   with security in mind, improving data integrity and making it safer for users to connect
For those of you who already access real-time data from the AUSCORS NTRIP Broadcaster you will need to do the following to take advantage of the enhancements:

  *   register for a new account at https://gnss.ga.gov.au/stream
  *   point you system to the new URL (ntrip.data.gnss.ga.gov.au:443)
To provide you with enough time to transition to the enhanced platform, we will not turn off the old URL (auscors.ga.gov.au:2101) until 30 June 2022.


If you require support in connecting to the AUSCORS NTRIP Broadcaster, we are available over email at gnss at ga.gov.au or phone at +61 (2) 6249 9426 during business hours (Monday to Friday, 9AM to 5PM AEST).



Your feedback during this transition is important to us to ensure Geoscience Australia, through the Positioning Australia program is providing a fit-for-purpose AUSCORS NTRIP Broadcaster platform. You are able to provide your feedback by emailing us at gnss at ga.gov.au.
