Dear Colleagues




We are pleased to announce that GNSS+R 2021 workshop, the Specialist Meeting on Reflectometry using GNSS and other Signals of Opportunity 2021, will be held online as a Virtual Meeting on September 14-17, 2021.

 

The GNSS+R 2021 workshop aims to provide a forum for the leading experts and young researchers working on the science, engineering, technology of GNSS-Reflectometry (GNSS-R), reflectometry using other sources of opportunity and their applications for ocean, land, atmosphere, weather and climate research. In addition, the 2021 workshop offers in for the first time in the GNSS+R history a dialog platform between the GNSS+R and GNSS RO communities. GNSS+R 2021 invites the related international communities to come together and share their recent results and plans for the future as well as to initiate new collaborations and projects in the fruitful atmosphere of this highly topical workshop.

The GNSS+R 2021 workshop was to be held in Beijing, China, hosted by the National Space Science Center, Chinese Academy of Sciences (NSSC/CAS). It was moved to a virtual event due to the COVID-19 pandemic. We cordially invite you to participate in GNSS+R 2021 and look forward to meeting all of you online through ZOOM MEETING in September 2021. We will try our best to adjust the meeting time in four days to give convenience to all audiences from different time zones.

 

Kindly reminder: we are sorry that the first announcement is late because the workshop plan has been adjusted accordingly due to the COVID-19 pandemic. Please prepare your Abstract at your earliest convenience. The length of the abstract is 200 ~ 500 words. A Journal of Selected Topics in Applied Earth Observations and Remote Sensing (JSTARS) special issue on GNSS+R 2021 is planned to collect and peer-review the papers of the conference. The Abstract template, submission system and special issue guidelines will be available soon.
